You could say eating is a habit, A very necessary habit. Oddly modern science has just discovered they can use “food” to treat certain conditions. Things like depression, diabetes, cancers, auto immune and scores of other health conditions.

Empty calories are your enemy. Rule of thumb; marketers, advertisements and corporations are not good food arbitrators. They don’t care if you’re healthy. Their goal is money not wellbeing. But you knew that.

Modern medicine is a cornucopia of treatments. Very experimental and frankly dangerous with the advent of Super Bugs.There is a mixed bag of physicians also. So who and what can you trust?

First you can trust that God made you to be healthy, wants you to be healthy. That’s why we have food. Modern medicine is absolutely phenomenal in every direction it delves into, except one: the genesis of it all. Credit goes to the designer for making a self-repairing body.

The following is a simple list to adapt your diet easily for some quick success.

  1. No artificial sweeteners (causes dementia, cancers)
  2. No GMO or MSG if possible
  3. Butter, first press olive oil, coconut oil, ghee for cooking- closest to nature always best choice
  4. X nay on Mickey Ds, et. al
  5. Iron skillets for cooking (increases iron levels, doesn’t shed aluminum and Teflon)
  6. Iodized salt! Not readily available in most foods. The body needs this trace element.
  7. Magnesium rich foods (promotes sound sleep etc.)
  8. Dark Greens, kale, broccoli. spinach – try FUN recipes with creepy tasting Food! We watch Chef John on “Food” YT
  9. Plan your meals, make game of it…work together…from garden to table…a family affair
  10. They lied about eggs and salt and fats in the 60s and 70s: They are all healthy and nutritious in their own way. Think Natural!!
  11. Everything in Moderation. Balance is the key. Just think before you actually put the next bite, am I still hungry? If not, Why eat it?
  12. Ashwagandha: Supports mental mood by reducing stress responders, promotes calm and focus (high quality Only)
  13. Water in plastic bottles leach harmful chemicals when they get hot (buyer beware, known to cause breast cancer)
  14. Drink Water, add lemon or orange slices for flavor and Vit C
  15. File 13 the microwave (damages the food molecules) at least limit its use
  16. Deep red Tomatoes consume in large amounts, fresh or canned (heart health)
  17. Fruits and Veggies (Grow your food, learn to can, dehydrate and preserve)
  18. Pray over Every bite…we need His blessing and we are so Thankful for His Provision

This is the short list of options for better health. I didn’t even mention sugar the elephant in the room. Even if you accomplish some of these things and add your own findings you’ll be better off than yesterday. It’s always only One Step at a Time.

This being said we do not exist without food. Nothing does. But there is a spiritual table set for you. Costs you nothing but a grateful heart. Come and dine with me, I’ll give you food you know not of! John 4:32
