Then he said to Him, “If now I have found favor in Your sight, then show me a sign that it is You who talk with me.”
Have you ever thought about how you would convince people it was you, really You, if you were God? I admit it would be hard. If you were like world famous through all time and eternity as the very one and Only God. What would you call yourself? When Abraham asked who shall I say sent me, God said, say “I AM sent you.” Pastor P. from Second Chance Church, pointed out that this name fits all kinds of scenarios. “I Am the Bread of Life” “I Am Your Redeemer””I Am the Creator””I Am the One who hears your Heart cries.”
So if you know His name, one of His names, how do you know it’s Him who is talking?
Maybe, if you were God, you could convince people to believe you if you wrote a book. A special Book that could be translated into 170 languages, that would span 6,000 years. Maybe if you only had one theme: Relationship thru Redemption, Crafted By Love.
People would believe you if you explained creation in your First book right? If you expounded on your creation throughout your book, people would believe you, right?

Colossians 1:16 (NKJV)
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
One of the problems with hearing God speak, is that people would need to Believe that He exists.
This is a sign of our times: rebellion and rejection toward moral laws. Lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. Might I interject there would be no sex traffic market, or wealth in porn if this were not true. So removing trash from in front of your eyes will help you begin to see your fabulous creator. Do you have idols that have blinded you? Check your bank statement. It will give you a clue. This is very convicting, so make sure you’re ready to find out.
And while you’re at it, do an attitude check. Do you deny God in your speech by not including Him? Those private conversations are they ever about God? We can give Him the opportunity to speak into us His power and proofs.
They are all around us. The seeds that grow into magnificent trees. The flowers that bring life and beauty. The stars set in place for our pleasure.

Maybe give thanks with a grateful heart, because you couldn’t have finished this article if it did not beat one more time. Thank You Father God that YOU talk to us in the rhythmic beat of our own heart. He is Singing His Love over you, moment by moment!
