Dear Sister of Faith:
Because of Father’s vast love for you, and through the encouragement of a sweet sister of faith, I’m writing to you to encourage you!
Father loves you so much. You are dear, valued, and cherished. How do I know this fact to be true? Because the Word of God tells me so. And just so you know, NONE of Father’s love for you is based on your efforts or failures. He Loves because He IS Love. If you have already received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then you are loved and accepted into Father’s household. This belief is a foundational truth. Why then is it so difficult for God’s girls to walk confidently in this truth? It should be no surprise to you that the Enemy distorts Father’s truths, usually outright lying to you, because that is the Enemy’s nature. But why do God’s girls believe these lies so readily? Why believe you aren’t worthy or valued, or loved or cherished? It’s my belief and experience that the reason is because so many of us, (God’s girls), are not aware of our identity in Christ. We don’t know how God sees us, so we operate in ignorance (not stupid, just lacking knowledge). My heart, that I believe Father has encouraged me to share with you, is to increase your knowledge about who you are in Christ. Right now. From the time you believed Jesus was the Son of God, and accepted His free gift of Salvation purchased for you at the cross, your identity has been secured. (Eph. 1:13 – sealed)
You are accepted (Eph. 1:6)
You are chosen (Eph. 1:4; 1 Pet. 2:9)
You are valued (1 Pet. 2:9)
You are loved (John 3:16; Eph. 1:4)
You are redeemed (Eph. 1:7)
You are a royal princess (Eph. 1:5; 1 Pet. 2:9; Rom. 8:17)
You are a priest (1 Pet. 2:9)
You are a saint (Rom. 8:27; 1 Cor. 1:2; 1 Cor. 14:33)
You are Father’s delight, and He sings over you (Zep. 3:17)
You are a warrior (Eph. 6:11-18)
You operate from a place of victory (1 Cor. 15:57; 1 John 5:4)
You are healed (Isa. 53:5)
and this is only a partial list…
I pray that by faith you would repeat these truths in your mind every single time the Enemy would speak his lies in your ears and thoughts. Apostle Paul said we are in a spiritual battle, so keep your armor on at all times. (See Eph 6:11-12) God’s Word says to take your thoughts captive. (2 Cor. 10:5) How? How do you stop the occasional chaos in your mind? Practically speaking, it starts with awareness. Realizing your thoughts are out of control. STOP. Like literally – stop. Freeze. Ask yourself, “What do I know to be true?” Jesus is Truth (John 14:6) He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He’s also the Word (John 1:1). Replace the out-of-control chaotic thoughts with God’s Truths. Speak His Word over yourself. Out loud is best, because the Words of Truth are living, active, and there’s power in speaking God’s Word. (Heb.4:12) You are literally announcing in the natural world (realm), what is true in the spiritual realm.
By faith, repeat Father’s Truths: “I am loved, I am chosen, I am accepted in the Beloved. I am redeemed. No weapon formed against me will prosper (Isa 54:17). He who formed a good work in me will bring it to completion (Phil 1:6). I am a royal princess in the household of God. I have the peace that passes all understanding (Phil 4:7). The blood of Jesus cleanses me and purifies me (1 John 1:7). I am Holy because He makes me Holy” (Col. 1:22; Col. 3:12; 1 Pet. 1:16), etc. (Speak the Truths that resonate with you).
These are the truths to be believed and spoken, NOT the enemy’s lies. No matter what anyone – anyone – has ever said to you about your worth or value – You, by faith, CHOOSE to believe Father God our Creator and His Word. He created you…He is the Only One who has the right to so Name you and your identity. Keep repeating these truths over and over as needed. Eventually the enemy’s hold over your mind will loosen. As you begin to realize (awareness) that the lies you believed are exactly that – lies – and as you replace with Truth, who God says you are – you begin to have peace in your mind and heart (Phil 4:7). You begin to walk with confidence and strength in your daily living.
Why is choosing to believe what God believes about you so important, even vital? If the enemy can convince you to believe the lies he continues to spout to you, you will stay weak, ineffectual, unable to walk in the freedom that Christ paid a high price for you to have and enjoy. We were meant to be free in Christ, have abundant life (John 10:10), have a river of life (Holy Spirit) flowing through us. We were meant to be effectual in the Kingdom of Light, bearing fruit. (Gal. 5:22-23). Choosing to believe Father instead of the lies from the enemy is a choice, a daily choice – sometimes a minute-by-minute choice. Focus on Father’s Truths (Phil. 4:8)
Who will you believe today? (Father, help our unbelief, see Mark 9:23-24)
Pray with me:
Holy Father,
“I praise You and thank You for Your vast love and mercy over me and my sisters of faith. Thank you Jesus for making a way for us to be reconciled, made right with Father, through Your precious blood shed on the cross. I thank You Father, that we can approach Your throne of grace with confidence. Father, I ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit over my sisters in faith this day. Father, You know each one of us intimately. You created us in Your image and knitted us together in our mother’s womb. Truly, we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Thank you for knowing what every single one of us needs; for knowing how we think and function. Father, I ask that You meet each sister exactly where she is now. I pray and ask blessings over her. You delight to give your children good gifts as a loving Father does. You are such a good, good Father. Lord God, I ask that You reveal Yourself in new ways to each sister. Restore, reconcile, heal, provide, love, lavish on your daughters, whatever they need. Grow faith in whomever needs more faith. Grow trust in whomever needs more trust. Grow love in the hearts of every one of us – to love as You love. I ask that all resentment, bitterness and unforgiveness be removed, now in Jesus Name, in each sister’s heart who has been harboring these poisons. Replace with Your Truths of love, mercy, forgiveness and wholeness. All of this we ask in agreement with Your Will. We praise You for who Your are! We praise You for what You are doing in each one of us and for what You are going to do in each one of us. May we have a willing and yielded heart to cooperate with You Father. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen!”
The LORD bless you and keep you – the LORD turn His face towards you and give you peace.
For Jesus,
Debbie
