We watch the news with trepidation, 1. they lie, they omit, they spin and they manipulate (don’t fall for it) 2. there are ways you can learn how to container garden, get non-gmo seeds, learn to purify water, stock your pantry with some long term items. Folks its going to get badder before it gets better.

Stay in your own lane.

Fix what’s fixable: your attitude. take a break from anger, frustration and misery. Listen to music, your mood will change. Help someone out and tell no one. Pray for someone else’s needs, earnestly. Cook someone outside your home a meal. Yes, take care of yourself and also step outside your comfort zone to meet someone else’s needs. This helping others accomplishes several things. 1. It brings your heart into closer relationship with God 2. It helps someone elses need, so they can thank God 3. It blesses the heart of God (How cool is that.) Trust me it is very difficult not to be obsessed with your own thoughts and needs, so stretching yourself to help others is summed up in Jesus words.

Matthew 22:36-40 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” And Jesus replied to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. …

Mark 12:31 This is the second: ‘You shall [unselfishly] love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Find a community. Seek good communications. One builds one. We need one another to hang with, to talk to, share info and help each other and to grow. How Fun is that! It will always take you outta a funk to seek out a need someone has and fulfill it. After all we are His hands and feet.

Read the Bible. If I could tell you 10 thousand ways the Bible speaks I’d just be getting started. It is a book about Love. Who can describe love, it’s like water you can’t hold it in your hands, it’s fluid and lively. I say it’s living words that change our outcomes. I have seen its power and perfect relevance. It only can speak truth and freedom.
