Where is Heaven?

Our words are wise because they are from God, telling of God’s wise plan to bring us into the glories of heaven. This plan was hidden in former times, though it was made for our benefit before the world began.
Holy Cow this verse seems to indicate Heaven is a real Place!

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

I see a few things here. Jesus has a body after the resurrection. So we will too. He refers to heaven as up. That’s a good thing even metaphorically. The KJV says “many mansions”. The Living Bible says many homes. Where ever it is on the GPS, Heaven will be in the presence of Jesus Christ, The Holy One. If you want some blue prints and building codes check out Revelation 21. The materials are Top Shelf.  They are listed as physical components. Pure gold for streets, jewels and pearls for walls and gates. The Glory of it all. But it hit me how clean it is. Even though we will have a body and will be fed a royal feast, there is no dirt, waste, trash, filth and I’m thinking no pet fur either. I also ponder the part about “many”. How many? IDK

So, my friend, since we know God is true and CANNOT lie. When scripture mentions something 700 times, we can’t pretend it doesn’t touch the subject. It isn’t a mythological ideal. It may be a place where redeemed spirits hang out in the presence of Pure Light.  (John 8:12), but we will have the attributes of God. Remember we are made in His image. So sight to behold heavens magnificence, taste to enjoy the wine and food at the wedding feast, smell to waft the aromas of joy, and we will hear the choirs singing “Glory to God In THE HIGHEST!

You have a “ticket to Paradise”. It’s been paid for, bought with a price. The death of Christ. Your ticket is Faith. Heaven is a real place. It’s better than the lottery, you grab His hand and He’ll never let go. Much safer than a piece of paper. Sealed by His Spirit until the day of redemption.
