I’ll go first:
1. “you don’t know 1/10th of one percent of anything”
2. Referring to God: He loves each one as if they are the only one

eg. A man was walking along the
beach one morning as the tide rolled out. He stooped down and picked up a stranded starfish and tossed it back into the waves. Someone spotted the man and said “Hey, there must be thousands of starfish out here stranded in the tide pools, how can what you’re doing matter?” The old man looked up with a smile on his weary face and said, “It mattered to THAT one”.
